51-year-old escaped Franklin County inmate, Richie Landers, was found hiding in a Tuscumbia home after a tip. Landers was located by officers, investigators, and the Tuscumbia Special Operations Group and was returned to the Franklin County Detention Center, where he faces a charge of Escape 1st. The inmate had been allowed to leave the jail for an insurance matter but failed to return.
