22-year-old DeAndre “Desmond” Clark, previously reported missing from Asheville, was found dead behind an abandoned business on Batcave Road in Old Fort. The McDowell County Sheriff's Office is investigating the case, and an autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death. Clark was last seen by his mother on April 18. The investigation is ongoing.
