53-year-old Bhushan Rajput, a pharmaceutical company VP in Ahmedabad, lost Rs 3.95 lakh from his home loan account without sharing any details or clicking on fraudulent links. Cybercriminals sent a phony SBI net banking reward message, with no action needed from Rajput, but still managed to debit his account. The Bodakdev police registered a case under IPC and IT Act for breach of trust and cheating.
