A medical plane operated by UNC Air Operations crashed at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, causing a full ground stop and temporarily closing the secondary runway. The Socata TBM-850 plane, owned by Medical Air, was flying in from Wilmington when it crashed, injuring the pilot and a UNC physician on board. Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
