The Supreme Court of Pakistan has referred the civilians' trial case to the Practice and Procedures Committee for the formation of a larger bench. The six-member bench, led by Justice Aminuddin, considered appeals regarding the annulment of civilian trials in military courts. A larger bench may be convened to address concerns about the risk of pleas being dismissed in case of a 3-3 decision.
