The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing on West Bengal government's lawsuit against the CBI probe in post-poll violence cases to May 1. The state government claims that the CBI has proceeded with its investigation without obtaining the necessary approval. The adjournment was requested by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who has to appear before a nine-judge Constitution bench.
