Spain's PM, Pedro Sánchez, announced he is suspending public duties to reflect on his future after a Spanish court launched a preliminary investigation into possible influence peddling and corruption involving his wife. The investigation concerns allegations she used her position to secure sponsors for a university master's degree course she ran. Sánchez said he urgently needed to decide if he should continue leading the government or renounce the position.
