Shanghai's former senior legislator, Dong Yunhu, has been indicted on bribery charges by the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP). Dong, a former secretary of Shanghai's leading Party members' group and chairman, is accused of abusing power for illicit gains, accepting a substantial amount of money and valuables. The case was filed at Hefei City's intermediate people's court in Anhui Province.
