30s man injured in North York high-rise fire: A man in his 30s sustained serious, potentially life-threatening injuries in a fire at a North York high-rise apartment building on Martha Eaton Way. Firefighters responded at 8:30 a.m. and found the injured man, transferring him to paramedics, who took him to a burn center. The fire, contained to one unit, was extinguished by the Toronto Fire Department.
