Perlis Mentri Besar's son and five others have been arrested by Malaysia's Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in relation to a RM600,000 ($142,000) investigation involving falsified documents and false claims since 2022. The suspects, aged 27 to 37, are believed to have played a role in the alleged false claim of work that was not carried out. They were detained under Section 18 of the MACC Act.
