Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has launched an initiative to address the high rate of school dropouts among girls, with plans for an alternative high school in Osogbo, Osun State. The initiative aims to provide a second chance for girls who dropped out due to unplanned pregnancies, cultural barriers, or economic reasons. Governor Ademola Adeleke has pledged support for the project, and the Universal Basic Education Commission plans to replicate the school in each state of the federation.
