Kenya's National Cereal and Produce Board (NCPB) compensates farmers who purchased substandard fertilizer under the government's subsidy program. Affected farmers must file complaints, present IDs, and provide proof of purchase. Farmers who haven't used the fertilizer are asked to return it for an equivalent amount of planting fertilizer, while those who have used it will be provided with an equivalent amount of top-dressing fertilizer.
