Kaduna Internal Revenue Service sealed UBA branches in Kaduna state over unpaid N14.3m tax.
Kaduna Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) sealed United Bank for Africa (UBA) branches in Kaduna state due to alleged unpaid N14.3m tax. KADIRS Board Secretary/Legal Adviser, Hajiya Aysha Ahmad, said the enforcement was to ensure tax compliance in the state and that UBA was given multiple demand notices to pay the tax but refused. The branches will be unsealed once the bank pays the owed amount.
