District Attorney opposes Scott Peterson's motion for DNA testing in 20-year-old murder case.
The District Attorney in Stanislaus County, California, has filed a response opposing Scott Peterson's defense team's motion for DNA testing in the murder case of Laci and Conner Peterson. The DA's office argues that the 14 items requested for DNA testing have already been tested, litigated, or are unrelated to the case. Scott Peterson was convicted of killing his wife and unborn son 20 years ago.
