Deep Purple's new album, "=1", is set for release on July 19th, featuring a lineup with new guitarist Simon McBride. The title symbolizes the idea that in a world growing more complex, everything eventually simplifies down to a single, unified essence. The album is the band's first since 2021's "Turning to Crime" and marks their 23rd studio album. Deluxe editions of "=1" will include 13 tracks recorded live on the band's 2022 tour and an hour-long behind-the-scenes documentary.
