China sends new giant panda couple, Jin Xi and Zhu Yu, to Spain for a 10-year residency at a Madrid zoo.
Beijing, April 24 (Xinhua) - China will send a new giant panda couple, Jin Xi and Zhu Yu, to Spain on April 29 for a 10-year residency at a Madrid zoo. The previous couple returned to China after living in Spain for over a decade. The China Wildlife Conservation Association confirmed the pandas, born in 2020, are in good health and are undergoing quarantine procedures.
