Canada's federal government has announced $1.3 million in funding for Lytton First Nation to fast-track 20 new housing units over the next three years, following a devastating wildfire in 2019. The funding is part of Budget 2024: Fairness for Every Generation, which aims to build more homes for Canadians and Indigenous Peoples both on and off reserves, with plans to unlock 3.87 million new homes by 2031.
