Swedish streaming service Viaplay's organic sales growth slowed to 5.6% in Q1 2024, down from 27.3% a year ago as the company focuses on operational improvements after a recapitalisation drive. Net sales from core Nordic, Dutch, and Viaplay Select operations rose to SEK 4.46bn ($410m) in Q1, but growth was hampered by customer churn following price increases and account sharing. About a third of Viaplay's premium subscribers have shared their account details.
