Hanuman Jayanti procession begins in Hyderabad, traffic restrictions in place; procession starts from Gowliguda Ram Mandir and culminates at Bowenpally Hanuman Temple after travelling 13 km, passing through Secunderabad. The Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have organised the rally, with large numbers of workers participating. The Hyderabad police have deployed forces in significant numbers to monitor the procession, with law and order officials, the Task Force, and Rapid Action Force moving along with it. Traffic restrictions have been imposed for the entire day.
