Taranaki police launched a homicide investigation after a man died from serious injuries following a disorder-related incident at a property on Gladstone Rd, Hāwera. The police were notified at 10:17pm and remain at the scene conducting a scene examination and further enquiries. A post-mortem examination will be completed in the next few days, with more information to be released when possible.
