Deputy Minister Kweon and NNSA Administrator Hruby discussed nuclear cooperation, disarmament, and nonproliferation in Seoul, agreeing to enhance ties in research, fuel supply, and spent fuel management.
Deputy Minister for Multilateral and Global Affairs Kweon Ki-hwan met with U.S. NNSA Administrator Jill Hruby in Seoul on April 22. They discussed nuclear cooperation, disarmament, and nonproliferation between South Korea and the U.S., acknowledging its importance to the ROK-U.S. Alliance. Both parties agreed to strengthen ties in areas such as joint research on nuclear non-proliferation, nuclear reactor fuel supply, and spent nuclear fuel management.
