Gunn High School and Fletcher Middle School in Palo Alto were placed under a shelter-in-place order due to an unconfirmed threat. The Palo Alto police department conducted investigations and confirmed no threat was found. Both schools lifted the order, and students resumed their regular schedules. Miramonte High School in Orinda also reported a lockdown due to a similar threat, but no official confirmation was provided.
