2 New Zealand researchers lead development of international AI policy guide and framework.
Two New Zealand researchers, Sir Peter Gluckman and Hema Sridhar, are leading the development of an international policy guide and framework to evaluate AI and other new technologies. As lead authors of the International Science Council's report, they aim to inform global and national discussions on AI. The report, "A guide for policy-makers: Evaluating rapidly developing technologies including AI, large language models and beyond," has been launched in Paris.
