A man died in police custody in Chilliwack, British Columbia after a reported fight inside a vehicle. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) responded to the incident on April 22 and apprehended one man who later went into medical distress. The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) of British Columbia has been called to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
