Range Rover unveils its first electric vehicle, the Range Rover Electric, undergoing testing in Sweden's frozen lakes. The electric drive unit and battery are in-house developments for the luxury automaker. The electric model, with an 800V electrical architecture and 850mm wading depth, will feature an "intelligent technology to maximise range" and a "seamless electric ownership experience" with energy partnerships and over-the-air software updates. Order books opened at the end of 2023.
