Journey's co-founder and lead guitarist Neal Schon expressed his interest in the band playing Las Vegas' new Sphere venue after seeing Phish's recent residency. While there are no confirmed plans, Schon sees the venue as a good fit for Journey's early material and believes the hits would be "explosive." The band is currently on tour and has a summer stadium tour with Def Leppard starting July 6 in St. Louis, Missouri.
