Google search head Prabhakar Raghavan addressed changing realities at a company-wide all-hands meeting, highlighting the significant growth Google has experienced over the past two decades. Raghavan acknowledged the challenges of maintaining ad growth trajectory, user behavior changes, and increased competition and regulation. In response, he plans to shorten project completion times, build teams in growing markets such as India and Brazil, and reduce layers of management.
