Ghana's Chief of Staff praised Asantehene for empowering women, urged support for the Affirmative Action Bill, and donated to women's traditional governance.
Ghana's Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, praised Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his significant role in empowering women and his efforts towards inclusivity in the Ashanti Kingdom. She urged him to support the passage of the Affirmative Action Bill, currently before Parliament, and to continue advocating for more women in all aspects of society. Frema-Osei Opare donated GHC200,000 to the Asanteman Queen Mothers' Day and Food Fair to support women's involvement in traditional governance.
