Former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, arrested by EFCC over N8bn money laundering linked to Nigeria Air project.
The EFCC has arrested former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, in connection with an ongoing N8 billion money laundering investigation linked to the failed Nigeria Air project. Sirika arrived at the Federal Capital Territory Command of the EFCC on Tuesday and is being questioned over alleged fraudulent contracts awarded to a company owned by his younger sibling, Abubakar Sirika. He is expected to be arraigned in court next week.
