Daniel N. Davidow, former medical director of Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents in Virginia, is on trial for allegedly sexually abusing two teenage patients during physical examinations. Davidow, who has denied all allegations, is also facing a separate civil proceeding involving dozens of former patients who have accused him of inappropriate touching. The hospital and its parent company are also part of the civil proceeding.
