On Earth Day, Tin Whistle Brewing in Penticton, BC, became a zero-waste brewery, meaning its processes no longer contribute waste to landfills. Already the first carbon-neutral brewery in the province, the company has been working towards this goal for three years. Co-owner and environmental lead Alexis Esseltine played a key role in achieving this sustainable milestone.
