Canadian National Railway (CN) reported a 10% decline in Q1 net income to $1.1bn, while revenues fell 1% to $4.25bn due to higher labour costs and lower container shipment revenue. CEO Tracy Robinson stated the company's growth opportunities are materializing as the economy recovers. CN's operating income dropped 7% to $1.546bn, and the operating ratio increased by 2.1 points to 63.6%. The company declared a second-quarter dividend of 84.5 cents per share, to be paid on June 28.
