Canada's Competition Bureau raises concerns over Bunge Ltd's proposed $8.2bn acquisition of Viterra Ltd, fearing potential anti-competitive impacts on grain purchasing in Western Canada and canola oil sales in Eastern Canada. The deal also involves Bunge's minority shareholder connection to grain company G3, a competitor to Viterra. The Competition Bureau's report has been sent to Canada's transport ministry for review.
