California man uses Apple AirTag to track and recover stolen car.
A California man used an Apple AirTag to recover his stolen car by tracking it with his iPhone. Long Beach resident Philip Obando discovered his car was gone, called the police, and used his iPhone's AirTag app to track the car. Obando and his wife followed the car until it stopped at a gas station, where they found the thief filling up the car. Obando confronted the thief, who claimed the car was his, but upon clicking the extra car fob, the car beeped, causing the thief to flee.
