California resident finds stolen car using Apple Airtag, confronts thief and recovers vehicle.

A California Long Beach resident, Philip Obando, found his stolen car using an Apple Airtag hidden in the trunk as a precaution. After calling the police and tracking the car through his phone's Airtag app, Obando and his wife located the stolen vehicle near a gas station. Obando confronted the thief while his wife blocked the car in, and the suspect fled when Obando used an extra car fob to activate the vehicle.
