4 BJP leaders face FIRs for alleged hate speeches during January 2023 Mira Road violence in Maharashtra; police register 13 cases and court sets hearing for June 19.
The Bombay High Court has been informed by the Maharashtra Police that four FIRs have been filed against BJP leaders Nitesh Rane and Geeta Jain for alleged hate speeches during the Mira Road violence in January 2023. The police have also registered 13 cases regarding the violence that erupted. The court has directed the State to file an affidavit on the matter by June 12 and has scheduled the hearing for June 19.
