ASM International raises Q2 revenue forecast due to strong Chinese demand and advanced logic/memory sales.

Wafer processing equipment supplier ASM International (ASMI) increased its Q2 revenue forecast due to stronger-than-expected Chinese demand and higher sales in advanced logic and memory. The company now expects revenue in the range of 660 million euros to 700 million euros ($706 million to $749 million) at constant currencies, up from 600-640 million euros previously.
