Apple may remove physical buttons from iPhone 16, replacing them with capacitive buttons that provide haptic feedback. Taiwanese supplier Advanced Semiconductor Engineering has reportedly been ordered to provide capacitive button components, which will integrate with two Taptic Engine motors on each side of the iPhone 16. This design change could allow for a more seamless unibody design and potentially improve water and dust resistance.
