Youth voices were prominent at Earth Day events in Owen Sound, inspiring others to take action for the planet. Grade 6 student Addison Cox, a member of the Georgian Bay Community School Green Team, participated in a youth panel discussing environmental initiatives already in place and planned at the school. The event took place at Owen Sound's third annual Earth Day festival held along 1st Avenue West and in various local venues.
