17-year-old Indian Grandmaster D. Gukesh has taken sole lead in the Candidates Chess tournament in Toronto and is just one step away from becoming the youngest challenger ever to confront a world chess champion. If he wins the tournament, Gukesh will have a chance to become the youngest-ever world chess champion if he also wins against the current world champion Ding Liren of China later this year.
