TotalEnergies signed a 10-year LNG supply deal with Oman LNG and launched the Marsa LNG project, a combined gas production, liquefaction, and renewable power generation complex.

TotalEnergies has signed a gas supply deal with Oman LNG to offtake 0.8mn metric tonnes per annum of LNG for 10 years starting from 2025, positioning TotalEnergies as one of the main offtakers of Oman LNG's production. Separately, TotalEnergies and OQ Alternative Energy have launched the Marsa LNG project, an integrated complex that combines upstream gas production, downstream gas liquefaction, and renewable power generation. The project will feature a liquefaction plant with a capacity of 1 Mt/y located in the port of Sohar, powered by renewable electricity from a 300 MWp PV solar plant.
