The world's largest offshore floating wind farm, Green Volt, has secured all planning approvals to be built off the coast of Scotland. When operational, the project will feature up to 35 floating turbines, supplying 560 megawatts of energy to offshore oil and gas platforms and the UK grid. First Minister Humza Yousaf hailed the development as "great news" and emphasized Scotland's commitment to becoming a global leader in offshore wind.
