Sonic Frontiers 2, a sequel to the 2022 open-world platformer Sonic Frontiers, is reportedly in development according to credible insiders, including Daniel Richtman and Midori. The sequel will allegedly follow the open-world gameplay style of its predecessor and build upon its success, which included record sales of 3.5 million copies by May 2023. However, Sega has not yet officially confirmed the sequel's existence.
