A rare flock of Nene geese, native to Hawaii and one of the world's rarest species, was discovered in a Huntington Beach backyard and taken to the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center for care.

A woman in Huntington Beach, CA, discovered a rare flock of Nene geese, one of the world's rarest goose species native to Hawaii, in her backyard. Surprisingly, the geese were taken to the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center, where wildlife technician Jaret Davey is caring for them. Native to the Hawaiian islands, the Nene is Hawaii's state bird and the sighting has left both the homeowner and wildlife experts surprised.
