Queen Camilla, new Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Lancers, visited Catterick Garrison, inspected a parade, met families, and awarded medals.
Queen Camilla visited the Royal Lancers regiment at Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire for her first time as their Colonel-in-Chief, a role previously held by Queen Elizabeth II. During her visit, Camilla inspected a 152-person parade, met with families and members of the Old Comrades Association, and awarded five medals. The Royal Lancers, an armoured reconnaissance regiment formed in 2015, have been deployed in Poland and Kosovo as part of NATO's forces.
