The New York Mets have placed left-handed pitcher Brooks Raley on the 15-day injured list due to elbow inflammation. Raley, who had a 0.00 ERA this season, had previously experienced a similar elbow issue last year. Right-handed pitcher Grant Hartwig has been recalled from Triple-A Syracuse as a replacement. Raley, with a career 4.04 ERA, played for five organizations including five seasons in South Korea.
