Norway has delivered three F-16 fighter jets to Romania, as part of a 32-unit contract. The aircraft will join the 48th Fighter Squadron at Air Base 71 in Campia Turzii. The first three jets were delivered in November 2023, while the remaining 26 will be delivered by 2025. These F-16s, purchased from Norway, will operate for at least 10 years before being replaced by 5th generation aircraft.
