Madhya Pradesh authorities demolished the house of a man accused of sexually assaulting his neighbor and attempting to force her to transfer her family's property into his name. Ayan Pathan allegedly held the woman hostage, assaulted her, and used chilli powder and Fevikwik on her to silence her cries. After her escape, police arrested Pathan and the district administration razed his illegally built house on government land.
