Governor Tim Walz has appointed Theodora Gaïtas and Sarah Hennesy to Minnesota Supreme Court, replacing retiring justices Margaret H. Chutich and G. Barry Anderson. This will give the court a female majority, with all seven members selected by DFL governors. Hennesy will replace Anderson, who retires next month, and Gaïtas will replace Chutich, set to retire in July.
