Firefighters from Cambridgeshire rescued a deer entangled in netting near a football field in Wisbech St Mary.

Firefighters from Cambridgeshire rescued a deer entangled in netting near a football field in Wisbech St Mary. Members of the public alerted the fire service, and crews from Wisbech, Dogsthorpe, and Stanground arrived to find the deer in a water-filled ditch. Using specialist equipment, they cut the net, wrapped the deer in sheeting, and released it back into the field.
