Erin Patterson requests a 14-15 month remand for a Gippsland trial in her triple murder case.

Accused mushroom cook killer Erin Patterson is willing to wait on remand for over a year in order to have her triple murder trial heard in her local community, Gippsland, in regional Victoria. Ms Patterson's barrister, Colin Mandy SC, insists his client wants to be tried in Gippsland, stating she is "content to wait" for up to 14 or 15 months on remand. The defense team argues that the "proper venue" for the proceedings is close to the accused's home, as many of the case's intended witnesses live in the area.
